StarGate Turns To Games

Cheyenne Mountain, the producer of the upcoming Stargate Worlds MMO, recently announced a new game in the SG series.

This one is a 3rd person shooter called Stargate Resistance destined only for the PC.

We all know that Cheyenne Mountain have some difficulties in developing the MMO, but it seems that the recently- announced shooter should have a smooth sail - although it doesn't look that pretty.

Muffin Niffum:
Stargate Resistance will have an online feature based on a class system from which we feel compelled to remind Soldier, Commando and Scientist for the human class and Jaffa, Ashrak and Goa'uld for System Lords. The players will be able to choose between faction and travel to this SciFi world with the help of ...oh the tension ... star gates.

Stargate Resistance will be launched next year for the PC but until then check out the screenshots so you know if the game is worth the wait.
